List of Public Holidays in India 2024
With the new year just around the corner, the Central government has released the list of Gazetted and Restricted Holidays for 2024. While Gazetted holidays are mandatory government holidays restricted holidays are optional holidays that vary according to institutes and states.

- and Pensions has declared 17 Gazetted Holidays and 31 Restricted Holidays.
